What is Solar Feasibility?
KSEB regulations allow new solar connections only if the total capacity on a distribution transformer does not exceed 90% of its rating. This is to ensure grid stability and prevent overloading.
📌 KSEB Regulation: As per Regulation 14(2) of the Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Renewable Energy and Net Metering) Regulations, 2020, the cumulative capacity of distributed energy systems allowed to be interconnected with the distribution network shall not exceed 90% of the distribution transformer capacity.
